Woods + Dangaran Studio

The conversion of a former bank building into our 4,000-square-foot architecture studio combines the needs of a design studio with the scale, detailing, and craftsmanship of a modern luxury residence. The studio provides an immersive environment for clients to see, touch, and experience the flowing spaces, natural materials, and clean aesthetics that are our hallmark.

The interior plan is open but defined. Exposed wooden ceiling joists add height and air to the space. Abundant natural light and expansive yet human-scaled volumes imbue the studio with a calming energy. Running almost the full 50-foot-plus length of the studio, an "artifact table" parallels the workstations. Designers and clients can review and evaluate samples from this open materials library. At the back of the studio, a fully equipped kitchen opens to a walled-in garden, providing space for the team to gather for meals and to spend time together outdoors.
